This is my PSA for the residents of Georgia.

Saxby Chambliss is the current Senator from Georgia and he has been forced into a Dec. 2nd runoff election.

Independents, Libertarians, Democrats and Republicans must turn out in large numbers and vote for Saxby Chambliss Tuesday, December 2nd.

this guy?

Chambliss Refusing to Speak in Imperial Sugar Case

I can certainly see why he wants to make it back into the Senate

Quote:
Tate says attorneys for Chambliss claim he has immunity because he's a U.S. Senator.
"Our clients have said to reporters that they have felt like he was trying to influence them and dissuade them from filing lawsuits. That's the kind of activity a U.S. Senator does not enjoy privilege to conduct," explains Tate.

not sure why a voter would want to re-elect someone of this ilk, but each to his own

This guy Tate is an attorney desperate for attention.

The story is fluff.

And my PSA for the people of Georgia:

Let's see if we can't give Obama a veto-proof majority and get this country back on the right track after eight years of Bush misfeasance. Turn out one more slug from the Senate. Defeat Saxby Chambliss.

Max Cleland is an honorable man and an ex-senator. He is a triple amputee, due to his military service in Vietnam, yet Saxby Chambliss won his office by running a typical Republican slime campaign, swiftboating Cleland and questioning his patriotism. John McCain said of one of the ads Chambliss ran attacking Cleland, "it's worse than disgraceful, it's reprehensible". Show the country that slime doesn't work, Georgia, vote Chambliss out.

The "veto-proof majority" must not happen.

The "veto-proof majority" must must be stopped.

The "veto-proof majority" eliminates the two party system.

The "veto-proof majority" does away with checks & balances.

The "veto-proof majority" will be the straw that breaks this countries back.

Saxby Chambliss must win!

H20Man opposes a veto-proof majority. What better proof could we have that the veto-proof majority is something that's right for the country?

No need for bold 30-point type, H2O. We can recognize idiocy perfectly well at 12-point, and at least then it's not so blatant.

Nice try, H2O, but redirection never works because it's so obvious. When you can't come up with anything else, always throw in a "fucking", right?

Chambliss is a slimeball, he's shown that. Turn him out.
