A Very Funny Movie (Shanghai Nights)

I know it is an old movie and I generally hate comedies. I usually find the jokes to politically motivated, but this movie is so cute and irresistibly funny. I am just getting around to seeing it all these years after its release.

I roared with laughter during the scene where they are passing back and forth the Ming vases trying to not break them. Some of the humor directed at the British is (in my opinion) tastefully done (if there is such a thing).

The umbrella fight scene is also cleverly done!

I know I am “way” behind the times but this movie is ageless and the humor brilliantly crafted as a fine art... If you have never seen it I highly recommend buying it to own.

Jackie Chan is an immortal.
