Honestly, the only thing I can remember wanting was a dog but because we lived in apartments and my mother was completely against it, it didn't happen. I got goldfish instead.

Everything else I pretty much got. Clothes, bike, toys, art supplies, and all of the books and magazines I could stuff into my little room. That is, if my grades were up and I did my chores.

In retrospect, it seems to me
that everything that I have ever wanted
has fallen into my hands.

My sister committed to an asylum. That never happened. My dad to become super wealthy. He did OK but not super rich. Sex with Raquel Welch. I'm still holding out for that.

I did want my father to stop drinking and he did finally but not until I was way into adulthood.

Immortality, to find Atlantis, and my crush over John Denver.

Staring at the country roads vinyl record spin round and round still makes me want to occasionally go out and pound a few brews down at the local pub. Smile

A stay at home mom (thanks Tai Chi for thinking of that one).
A father who could keep a job and wasn't the town drunk.
Clothes that fit.

I remember always really wanting an easy bake oven - never got it.

Some one gave one to my daughter for a birthday present - now I know why I never got one - it s*cks. We used it once and then pretty threw it away.
