When you drink milk and start laughing why does the milk automatically squirt out of your nose?

I haven't had this happen since I was a teenager. Why doesn't it happen to adults?

it happend to my couzin with noodles!! haha

its only ever happened to me with water,
as far as i can remember,
but i'm only 12,
so i'll try n have some milk now, Smile

Well...there are much worse places for things to squirt out of while laughing....so thru the nose is a good thing...if squirting is involved.
