Delta's business is being eroded by the low fare carriers. They will be creating a new low fare carrier to compete. At first, the airline will have routes from Florida to the Northeast.
I am very curious as to what the difference there will be in service, and the quality of equipment and staff. I don't know how the airlines can chisel any more on service than they have now. I understand that all the seats would be coach level, but why couldn't they simply lower prices on their regular coach seats?
Do you think that Delta can take away business from the low fare carriers? Would you be interested if Delta offered a low fare option to your destination?
