I started the sheep skin bussiness , but when approached the supplier , he said me which sections you need ..i was shochked ..he was saying ABCDE but i dont know so i avoided ..could you plz explain...
I don't know, but after reading the info on Wikipedia that references five different classifications of sheep skin according to their lengths of wool, it might be a good assumption that this is what the supplier was asking you.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sheepskin
Quote:Skins are classed, packed and sold in standardized wool lengths:
Bares (newly shorn)
1/8"–1/4" (3 mm–7 mm)
1/4"–1/2" (7 mm–13 mm)
1/2"–1" (13 mm–26 mm)
1"–2" (26 mm 55 mm)
2"–4" (55 mm–110 mm) (Full wools)
Hey, you're good at that, ya know?
