American business generally likes to hedge their bets and this is a desparation play; they must assume that an Oinkbama victory would be non-recoverable.

Being "comfrtable" with criminals may be a new political slogan for the McCain campaign. I think Maericans feel that theyve been used, pushed around, led down a destructive path, and have been sold out by the GOP.
Simple as that.
I understand where Wall STreet Journal gets its marching orders.

So big business has begun to realize that the slogan of whats good for business is good for the country dosent ring true to the working stiffs who have watched thier standard of living drop like a rock for the last 20 years. They have reason to be afraid.
