Generally, though, it is my prediction - based on data available as of today, ie not identical to a prophecy! - that the McCain-Palin ticket will win.

I think the Internet has made it possible to be overtuned to a segments of population we never heard from prior to the technology. The democracy/ numbers of participants on the Internet allows us All to be on a soapbox-- whether our troubles are real or imagined.

I'd say it's one of the curses of the technology-- non-stop and immediate access.
