I did not hazard a "guess" that racism will not cost Obama the election. I did make the point that if he loses because of racism, it will have to be the racism of liberals and moderates.

Simple logic will dictate, however, that it will not be the racism of people who were never expected to vote for him, but of those who were.
Do you mean to suggest that there are conservatives who when polled, respond they will vote of Obama and not McCain because they are concerned about revealing racism?
No, you haven't used the terms conservative and racism together ( in this thread
, but since most liberals consider liberalism and racism mutually exclusive it's hard to believe that any are thinking of their own brethren when they presage race as a major factor in an Obama defeat.
