Yes, but the election was in 2006. In context with the post I was replying to, it's apropos. But I think you were just trying to be a dick in pointing out the date.

But, this is the post you replied to -

Quote:
If there is still economic trouble in 2010 in an Obama administration, I'm sure the republican's will pretend it began in 2008. Whether the public would buy it is anyone's guess. Your speculation is meaningless. Speculation BTW, is one of the contributors to this big mess we are in.

If, as you claimed, the financial crisis began in 2006, it was before the Dems took office and cannot be blamed on them.

You just made an error, and yeah. I pointed it out. Pretty funny tho Laughing

It's not surprising, is it? It's the same kind of mentality that keeps blaming Clinton for all the current mess; they look "backwards" or "forwards," not the past eight years under Bush.

The Democrats have been in power since Jan 2007--that's sixteen months. The Job Approval rating for Congress is at9%, the lowest for any Congress in polling History. Surely, Reid and Pelosi should have been able to do SOMETHING in sixteen months>
