Gee. A year older. Terrible innit? I can't think of any mitigating circumstances? I can get strawberries by the ton if I want. They are no consolation.

Thanks Tai Chi, RJB, Spendi, Jane, Devries....and everybody again....and especially again to Izzie for somehow finding out it was my Bday.....you all brightened the day enormously, lifting my spirits, and making a Bday I had to work much nicer than it would have been.

I love you all.

Hey, foxy lady. You can have your cake and eat it, too.

Happy Birthday to one talented lady.

Thanks friend Steve, thee more stalwart than me I think Smile, and dear Letty. It was a good day with music, roses, strawberries, and good wishes from friends, family, and special A2K friends and I even got some work done too. Another productive day or two and I'll be ready to begin September. Smile

Edgar! Thank you. So glad you've surfaced dry and well. I wished you happy birthday on your thread, too, but it was buried among all the well wishes of your many friends. I read on another thread that you didn't suffer a great deal of personal loss. That is good to hear.

No well wishes are truly buried, only ignored ones. My greatest loss in the storm is only loss of services. I am thinking they may be restored today, since the front third of the neighborhood was so blessed yesterday.
