I already have a place to collect funny signs, but funny church signs with their odd conflation of salesmanship and religion deserve their own place. When the signs are intentionally funny it is a refreshing reminder that the solemn church folk are still human at heart, and when it's unintentionally funny the solemnity just makes it worse. So here is a home to collect funny church signs you run into.
That was my thought too. I don't think a Catholic church would be overtly defending dog souls even as a gag as that would be pretty antithetical to Catholic doctrine. And, while Presbyterians don't have any specific doctrine related to non-human souls, I can't imagine a Presbyterian Church going out of its way to offend dog lovers.
