My mother had a friend who had a teenage son who spent a whole summer in a tree thinking himself to be a rooster and crowing when the sun came up. Used to put corn and other rooster food for him on a picnic table under the tree... the kid got lucky and came out of it as it started to get cold.

I saw several other cases like that which together were enough for me to want to warn people away from the stuff.

acid is not what it was in my day... can gfet it with PCP... and the acid that is heavily hallucinogenic is normally so because it's cut with strichnyne... not good for you. And yes, there is always a chance of ending up in a weird place you don't quite come back from. I've seen it happen to more than one person. Back in the day I did every drug you can name.... many times, and acid is a crap shoot. If I knew then what I know now I'd have left it alone, no matter how much I joke about it.

Lots of poor quality street acid is cut with stychnine, that's why your kidneys hurt the next day...

I never did acid. It scared me. Mushrooms were a blast. I guess it's better that you try LSD than crystal meth.
