I'm going to be 50 in 3 months.

My favorite one from that site...

"A woman over 50 will not lay next to you in bed and ask "What are you thinking?" She doesn't care what you think."

well, not so much that she doesn't care, but figures if it's important enough, you should know enough to tell her. Doesn't care in that she's not waiting to hang on every word....she's heard all the words at one time or another.

I'm 53. One of the best things about the 50s is that I no longer care whether most people like me or what I choose to do. It's very "free-ing."

I'm 51. It's pretty good.

I did a pretty big round of getting-over-myself, and cleaning-the-closet-of-useless-friends, at 40. Now there's just an occasional tidy-up required.

The best thing about women over fifty (and they change from girlhood to womanhood about that time) is that they are not only wiser but sexier. In their sixties, and sometimes in their seventies, they become even better.

that's one myth I'd like to dispel, that if a younger guy plays flirty flirty with an over 50 she's gonna be so grateful that someone, anyone pays any attention to them they'll just drink it all up.
