Ok, some of the funniest protesters I see are the backwards homophobes and I've come across a lot of funny signs and even funnier reactions to these cave folk and figured I'd share.

Starting with this brilliant mind getting out the hidden secret of homosexuals everywhere.

A common theme is to use these folk like a sideshow and pose in front of them.

Isn't that a parody? She(?) is holding a rainbow flag.

There are just so many elements to this one....I couldn't resist.

I think she is saying that homosexuality isn't what's wrong...it's the homo's devil computer that is wrong.

But I could be mistaken.

It's a parody. Alan Turing was harassed for being homosexual to the point of committing suicide and she's making the (arguable) point that the computer wouldn't be where it is today without that gay guy.

I did not know that.

You learn something every day. I guess that this picture really doesn't fit now, does it? Confused

I think it fits just fine. It's a picture and it's about homophobia.

Not all of the pictures have to be homophobic people, one of mine was a simply put ad against homophobia.

I have no idea what this says. Is it homophobic or just analphobic?

Alan Turing never invented the computer (that's not what a Turing machine is), never won WWII (Bletchley already had captured an actual Enigma machine anyway, not that it was directly relevant to the war's outcome), and committed suicide when his security clearances were withdrawn - other than these minor details the pic may be relevant in some manner.

I'm finding it odd that that picture even needs to be posted, but I do think the little stick man penis is cute. Smile

You're talking out of your ass. Having an enigma machine didn't tell the Brits which setting to use on which day.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombe

Quote:
In the history of cryptography, the Bombe was an electromechanical device used by British cryptologists to help break German Enigma machine signals during World War II. The bombe was designed by Alan Turing, with an important refinement suggested by Gordon Welchman.

As for the importance of breaking Enigma:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enigma_machine

Quote:
The intelligence gained through this source, codenamed ULTRA, was a significant aid to the Allied war effort. The exact influence of ULTRA is debated, but a typical assessment is that the end of the European war was hastened by two years because of the decryption of German ciphers.[2][3]

Further, try searching on "father of the computer" or "father of computer science" and see what turns up....

LOL, DrewDad - you're clearly a steganography expert. Sleep tight, waking you up would only cause you distress <G>

Do you even know what "steganography" means?

Again, you're talking out of your ass.

My dear man - where you went to school I've no idea, but if the school in question ever gave you as much as a bachelor's degree, sent it back and sue them.... you're so clueless it's beneath pathetic.

ROFL

P.S. don't bother replying about loopless generating algorithms, you just wouldn't be able to spell them.....

Ahh, reminds me of a college experience. I get a call from a friend of mine:
Friend: "Dude, you gotta come down to the church right off campus"
Me: "Why the hell would I wanna go to church?"
Friend: "Well there are a bunch of people there protesting against gays"
Me: "Again, and why would I want to come?"
Friend: "Well there are a bunch of girls there who are opposing the protesters by making out right in front of them"
