These optical illusions are fascinating...

here's another...(if I can post it properly)

Attentively fix the cross at the center of the circle during several seconds.
Two spectacular phenomena will occur :
on the one hand a yellow spot will be formed ;
on the other hand, if you do not blink eyes, the blue spots disappear.

Also, a yellow halo of spots appears and moves to different places on the page. If I stare long enough, two yellow halos of dots appeared.

fix the central black spot while approaching you or while moving away you from the screen, the side rhombuses seem to turn !

The illusion is perceived only if the patterns are seen corner of the eye, it is for that that you must fix the black spot.

(grabs hold of sofa whilst feeling dizzy....)

thanku - there is an excellent one with 4 black spots and an illusion of Jesus... can't work out how to copy it tho. So clever!
