I've seen the Hobbit packaged with the trilogy, but never anything else.

I have never seen more than the Tolkein five volumes packaged together. There are a bunch of books written by other people about Middle Earth, but they are all separate. Amazon has the box set of 5, just search under JRR Tolkein. If you want to see a map of Middle Earth, do an image search in Google using the phrase "map of middle Earth" and you will get various artists' interpretations.

I think all editions of Lord of the Rings have a map.

I can't find them all together, but, as GW said, you can get the boxed set of LOTR and Hobbit from $6 via Amazon's second hand links and the Silmarillion from less than $5 ditto.

It isn't all that much, ya know.

I also found a download of, supposedly, everything, via file-sharing.

Maps? A dime a dozen...just google.

Wheel of Time is a massive time suck. Twelve (?) volumes, one to go, and the original author is dead.

Try the A Song of Ice and Fire series from George RR Martin.

A Game of Thrones is awesome.

Chronicles of Amber by Zelazny is really good, too. Quick reads, mostly.

The Simarillion is hard to read...I worried through it...not anything like The Hobbit or LOTR series. I have never seen it boxed with the others either. It's always by itself.
