We were careful with our fireworks this year and we did not have any grassfires.

Note: the reason Possum-cat doesn't have devil eyes is related to the lack of skill of the photographer, rather than the lack of devil-eyes on said cat! Rolling Eyes

We have been eating sweet corn in the Northeast for a few weeks. I like to lightly steam it, then roast it with butter plus a little salt. For a more exotic tasting corn I throw in some cilantro with the butter.

Mmmmhhh, sounds so good. I like sweet corn as well and my daughter could eat it every day, but since she got braces it's not an option any longer *sigh*
