anyone else hear about this?

gah heard thru the grapevine i gotta take the bus to work tho i cant check up on it, figured id ask hereee!!!

I think you heard wrongly. The Supreme Court has decided only one case since June, and it had nothing to do with the DEA or California drug laws. Moreover, such a ruling would contradict Gonzales v. Raich (2005). In that case, the Supreme Court ruled that federal drug laws and their enforcement by the DEA override California's rights to make its own drug laws. I would be surprised if the court had changed its mind on this.

You may be thinking of the California Supreme Court deciding to revisit People vs. Kelly and/or conflating it with County of Santa Cruz et. al. v. Ashcroft et. al. and U.S. District Judge Jeremy Fogel of San Jose denying a Bush administration request to dismiss the lawsuit, both of which happened recently.
