There's more to the story in other videos, the lion also introduced his new family to them. Find one of the videos using Whitney Houston singing "I will always love you" for the story and it will probably be the one.

In any case, yes, an amazing story.

That 's so nice. That's why I love my dog - no filters on her love and she's never embarrassed to show it.

This makes me think about the article BBB posted on facial memory - I wonder if animals have the same mechanism in their brain that humans do- and if they do, if it's the same size or smaller - taking into account that they probably rely much more on olfactory memory than humans do.

Anyway - thanks for sharing that. I'm gonna look up the one where he introduces his family - you never really think of animals experiencing emotions such as pride (except for peacocks).

Here's the more complete video aidan. It has more video of Christian the Lion as a cub and shows him "introducing his wife", and if the "wife" was a wild lion, her reaction was even more amazing.

And here's even more of the ending, with the original soundtrack:

From there I found out that the bare chested guy is "Lion man" George Adamson. This one also show the couple playing with the rest of the pride, including the cubs.
