Travelogues with pictures

Here's my first problem with this new site; I can't post any pictures, because Gravatar will not allow me to use "cicerone imposter" on their site, so on Gravatar, I'm known as "Ciceroneimposter." What a drag.

The avatar image is pulled off of email address, not username. As long as you sign up with the gravatar service using the same email address you use to login to able2know, then the image will appear on the site, regardless of what your username is on the gravatar service.

(Note: they use cache heavily, so it may take a few days to propagate)

posting images has nothing to do with Gravatar...

Can you give us a thread name with your photos, CI?

I am suspecting you didn't wait long enough for loading, but then.. you may have, and then Nick can address it.

I just went to the The 5-stans of the Middle East thread, and all the pictures seem to be still there...

Can you tell us where you had pictures disappearing, c.i.?

RP, Well, the strangest thing happened on the way to the forum; I visited my last travelogue on the "5-stans," and the pictures re-appeared! I swear they were not there on my visit to that site just yesterday.

Talk about frustrations...

That just might have meant problems at the place you hosted them, or maybe you just didn't wait long enough for them to load.

On this post I noticed your pictures are pretty big, and the site now loads faster so they show up even later than the rest of the page.
