With all the dying going on in the news I rarely get personally moved by the deaths here and the deaths there. But this picture that has been making its rounds on the internet made me care personally about this brother's loss.

These kind of photos really tear me up.

My brother will be going back to Iraq within the next 6 months; deployed for a year.

We're both old and it still sucks.

When I see these kids it just kills a little bit of me.

I have a little brother there now (2nd tour), and a friend who just returned (3rd tour, was wounded on his 2nd tour, but a stop loss order sent him back).

I worry everyday.
