Any suggestions on how I can fix the text being chopped off at the edges of particular threads? I've tried re-postioning, from side to side, but often the text is simply to wide for the frame.

not too sure what you mean here Olga. What browser are you using?
my browser window (firefox) 'accomodates' the script no matter how small i make it on my desktop.
Under 'view' i have clicked - Page style - basic page style
and under Character coding - Unicode
I dont know if any of this is relevant, but it's all i can think of at this time of the morning : )
hope someone comes along who knows

night

can you link to an example of a problem thread? and then describe the problem

(can you do a screen shot?)

Hi ehBeth
Good idea. I'll post the next time I see one. (It doesn't happen on every single thread.)

I'm not sure what a screen shot is, exactly, though ....
At the very least I can send a link & point folk in the right direction! Wink

This has got to be some sort of conspiracy! I swear the words on the right hand sides of the posts are cut short! Laughing

I just downloaded a HUGE Windows update. (Took forever!) I'm wondering if that will make a difference, Deb. Checking now ....

Nope. Not on the link I provided (above), anyway.
So later .... when I have more time & my tolerance level (to frustrating situations) is a bit better.

But, Olga, everyone knows that the right says it in fewer, shorter words than the left!

Right hand sides of post are still being cut off in only my A2K, it seems. And only on some threads. Ah well, I'll figure out something, later ...

But you know what I what I would really, really like & appreciate in the new A2K?: some sound (like a little ping!), or some visual indication that a reply has been sent to a thread I'm involved in. I lose track, then discover responses too late, as I wade my way through My Topics & My Posts .... I really miss those old email updates.
