How are you guys getting that quote thing to work?

Manually, sorta. When you hit reply, hit on the Enable BBC code editor... that will unveil some functions...one of them is a quote....but you still have to copy and paste between the opening and closing quote bracket....eh?

That's the idea. But to the determined quoteur, this is merely a challenge to master.

I don't know what happens when you do it for others, but if you click the thumbs up button for me I show up at your door and give you a free ass massage.

It's a once for all times kinda thing, I think.

(I don't get paid to think disclaimer here)

Re: Rockhead (Post 3358500)
Why was the old forum dumped, anyway? I liked it. I think it was easier to navigate around in. Now I don't know if someone replied to a topic or not and where or where are the emoticons........

I vote to have old A2K back.

(boy, it would have been a lot easier just to hit 'quote post' instead of all these steps)

I'm pretty sure that enough downratings will auto-hide threads and responses. You can still see them by clicking on them, but it's an annoyance.

Hi Marty and Cyclo,

I tried to summarise this for Okie in one short post. It ended up being two posts, though, because there's a way to finetune the settings for yourself, so if you'd like to do that, read the one underneath as well.

And yes, quoting is a serious bitch now.

The only thing I dont understand, though, is why this thread is called "I have just created my own website"? Cyclo's post is the first one I see, and it doesnt explain the title...

Re: Cycloptichorn (Post 3357940)
Cyclo, you may be discounting the algorithm thing. Craven explained this, on the Change thread #3 - I think it was. See Jespah's answers thread and her links. As I understand it, which is not well, there are setups in place to preclude that kind of chaos.

Oh -
On a read through, I see that Rabbit already said as much.

Before I vote, I need to know if that's meant to be a "free-ass massage" or a "free ass-massage"?

'Cause one way sounds good, but the other sounds......worrisome. I'd like to know which to expect.

A joke is never funny if you have to explain it.

And sometimes it's not funny even before then.
