Mismi and Linkat,

It seems that you cannot even vote up or down for a thread that you yourself have started.

You can't click on the the thread itself...but you can click thumbs down next to your own post...I tried it and it gave me a negative one and collapsed my post. The more thumbs down you get the more your reputation suffers. Good Grief...I am going to get an ulcer

Linkat - I clicked a thumbs up on everyone of your posts on this thread...your score went from 100. 2 to 100.11 I think ...I can't remember suddenly - BUT it did go up...so the more thumbs up - the higher the number...the more thumbs down the lower...

my guess low is 0 - maybe we should choose some one to see what happens if we all click so it goes below 0 - will it change to a negative?

I guess the high end is limitless.

What happens if I ignore myself? Do I just disappear forever, or what? Man, this is like sitting all day in front of a button with a label that says "Do not push this button".

The formula (right now, may change as we see more data) is: (total votes up - total votes down) / posts * 100.

So there's theoretically no limits either way.

I hope you'll wait till people get used to the system, and then change the formula again! Twisted Evil

Or, you could have everybody guess just what the formula is. Like Google, with their PageRank thingamajiggy....
