Ok, here we will be posting tutorials and answering any questions on how to use the new able2know.
To start, you need to use your email address to log in.
2) The default sort for the new topics, is by votes. So please vote up the first post in this thread to make it more visible as people show up.
No Pms for the time being McT. Or so I understand
Okay Craven.
I was just in the middle of an exchange with a gent via PM, and I don't have his e-mail address.
No doubt we will work-around.
Good luck and thanks. McT
I like to check "New Topics" to see what's shaking.
It is unclear to me how to do that at the moment. The "votes" rating is a good idea, but how do you get to see the list?
McT x
Oh, I expect that's "Discussions"
I just spotted it, sorry.
Hey McTag - no worries. Glad to see I'm not the only one asking how to do this...
From the home page, you can change the sorting to use "new posts" and "all time" and you'll have a list of all topics sorted by latest post.
Actually, you asked for "new topics", and you can do that as well by selecting "new topics" (not "new posts").
The new homepage by default shows you the top rated topics started within the last 24 hours. If you are logged in you can change this to new topics or new posts by using the 'sort by' dropdown.
Blimey O'Riley! Brave New World, eh.
Thanks Craven and Nick, and good morning to all my readers.
So, there's an option to "Reply to All". Then, the default is replying to a specific post? It'll take a bit of getting used to, but at least it looks like the rat made it back.
Maybe you vote a topic up by voting on the original post? Then you may or may not vote up or down on each post within the discussion?
Thanks, Jes. It's looking a little bare right now, or maybe it's just the learning curve.
Truely, Bohne, that was my reaction. Probably, in another week (of one century or another) we'll not only think this is normal, but maybe the only way it could be done.
sure we will.
Certainly not a joke. But it's also not much to look at. The graphic designer isn't finished.
