Does anyone know how to disassemble a Rainsoft Gold model 75 softener so that I could clean debris from the Flow Meter? The Rainsoft tech guy said that is my issue.

Shut off the water to the house and softener. Open and close a faucet to relieve system pressure. Put the bypass valve in bypass. Remove the screw on each side of the bypass valve that holds the steel clips on. Remove the control valve from the bypass valve and then remove the meter, clean it and up in the outlet of the softener. Blow on the meter wheel and watch for an indication that the meter is counting down and reassemble.

Before you tear it down, make sure both ends of the sensor wire are clean and securely plugged in.
