well, fortunately for me, still not many people from slovakia complete doctoral studies abroad - i have no idea why, could be cultural. wherever i go in the world, slovaks are mostly not there, while czechs and poles do travel a lot. hungarians also sit at home. or it could be about policy....different countries have different access opportunities. anyhow, the phd from BU turns out to be quite a useful capital to posess in a country like slovakia.
