Yes, that's what people with extrasensory perception (ESP) from around the world would say about Ukrainian president Victor Yushchenko.
Some two months ago I took part as an observer in an experimental research into ESP in Italy. Twenty psychics from eleven countries from around the world had to perform several tasks, such as clairvoyance with the use of Zener cards, finding "lost" items, locating missing people by a photograph and others. Among other things, the psychics were shown a photograph of Ukrainian president Yushchenko (you know, that ugly-looking type of a man whose face got disfeatured when he ran for president a few weeks before he was elected) and were asked to say what they can feel. To be honest, all of us were surprised with the results of this test. All of the psychics, one by one, said the man in the picture had been maleficated! What happened to his face is kind of a mark of the devil and all people who stick around him are in danger...
Well, sounds stupid isn't it? So did I think before I read an article about Victor Yushchenko.

Quote:Each year he climbs Hoverla, Ukraine's highest mountain. After receiving a checkup in which doctors determined he was healthy despite the previous year's dioxin poisoning, he successfully climbed the mountain again on July 16, 2005.
During that climb Yushchenko and a group of his bodyguards were reportedly struck by a lightning bolt. The incident has never been officially described, although the media cited witnesses stating that President and all but one guard fell unconscious. However, the President's office later admitted that other climbers had been injured or killed by that lightning strike.
You see? Of course, such cases are not usually reported but sometimes they come to light. We don't know for sure how many people from Yushchenko's entourage were injured or killed in various accidents. What I may say without doubt, it is no good for a country to have such irrational person as Yushchenko as president.
