Hi to people with religious beliefs.

It is great to find a place where people write who have religious beliefs. Being a steward on a writing site in charge of the religion channel, I am pleased to see that writers have an area where they can debate. Hope I didn't post this in the wrong place.

Thanks. I am a great believer in everyone having a say regardless of whatever religion they follow and this always works for me. Not sure how others feel, but I believe our beliefs are sacred and that no one should judge them.

Welcome, Rachel. I agree with you. However, don't hold your expectations too high on the sacred and judgement part. You can determine your comfort level as time goes on. Have a blessed day.

Welcome Rachel. I think you will like it here. If you can keep the attitude you now have I'd say you will do fine.

I had to learn that just because I believe something it doesn't mean others are going to respect that belief or even respect me or my right to hold that belief. I seem to do much better since learning that. Laughing

That may be so, but he's right.

No belief is sacred here.

Why, up until a minute or so ago, I believed Jesus had never SEEN a pogo stick, much less used one!

He has problems with the sandals, so he usually does it in his bare feet (he has to be careful not to get the holes in his feet caught on the pegs), and he tucks up his robe . . . it ain't a pretty sight . . .

You all know, of course, that the "H." in Jesus H. Christ stands for Holloway, right?

Our Father, who art in Heaven, Holloway be thy name . . .
