Well, I know it's a bit early to be posting a pre-trip thread, but felt this was very special. Our small group of eight will be traveling to Bhutan and India for 14-days.

This trip is very special, because Bhutan has been closed until 1960, and only a few thousand visit this country every year - with special invitation by their government.

The architecture is unique to Bhutan, but Tibetan buddhism seems to have the most influence in this somewhat isolated country.

The country's landscape is beautiful, and we will be seeing some animals unique to this part of the world.

It's my understanding that we're gonna have one of Bhutan's best tour guide.
