I think - but I'll have to double check, that the Italian Minister of Human Rights earlier in the thread is featured (if you can call it featured) in an article on Berlusconi and the italian legislature in a not too long ago New Yorker.

It all depends on what one considers "attractive" in politicians, I guess.

Now take Bob Brown, leader of the Greens in Oz ... Is he handsome (in the coventional sense)? I doubt many would say so. Charismatic? Probably not, really. But if you take into account qualities like commitment, idealism, vision, political smarts ... it's a whole new ballgame! Very Happy

Hell, I'd be willing to be rushed of my feet without a moment's hesitation! .... but sadly Bob's gay & not available. (Damn, damn! Crying or Very sad
