I like that. I loved the breed as a kid.

I've recently started doing art again, one thing I am still pretty bad at is color, having always worked in black and white in the past. I like this a lot!

Always glad to hear someone is starting up in art again! What kind of art do you enjoy doing?

I just finished the 3rd monochromatic animal painting...'Violet Nights'. It is 16x20 canvas with acrylic paint. I have the next 4 animals and colors picked out, I just have to find the time to get them done.

I love it, and wish I had a place to hang it.

Here is the first one "Cerulean Shadows". I see that none of them are showing up anymore.

I am working on the fifth. It is a lion painted in yellow ochre.

How is everyone doing? Good I hope! I am so thrilled to announce that I am FINALLY going to be in an art show/sale! It will be April 12th in Grapevine Texas at the Palace Arts Theater on Main St. It is coinciding with Grapevines Vintage Wine Trail Festival. If any of y'all happen to live in the DFW/ North Texas area I would love to see and meet you! I also wanted to share some works in progress with you since I have not posted anything here in so long. Please keep in mind that all of these are NOT completed. I am still working on them. They are part of my monochromatic animal series. I have 2 others, but they are not good enough to share just yet. I'm hoping to have the turtle done by the show time, but I won't be able to get the others done in time.
