They really do have humans. Try calling very early in the morning. If they don't cut you off while on hold, keep holding.

It boils down to income, roger. If she made less than a given amount the check is issued accordingly.

Eyep. (It's line 10 on the 1040EZ). I earned too little taxable income to get the full 600 back.

It's stupid isn't it? I guess the idea is that you have to be paying taxes in order to have them rebated. While I did pay taxes last year, I didn't pay enough to warrant a full rebate check.

Tax check
I should of received my check on May 16th. I didn/t make enough money to pay federal tax in 2007 but I did send in a form. Do you think with no money being made that I am just not qualified for even the 300 dollars allowed. Thanks for the input in advance. Sandi
