Well, this'll sound like I'm talking with rose colored glasses, but, life has some horrendous blows sometimes. I've been through quite a few slammers. But this doesn't mean love doesn't exist, that there might not be some goodness in those who seem most vile, or even worse, most apathetic to others. I'm sorry for what your friend is dealing with.
