I bought the DVD after renting it -- the inventiveness of the storytelling and the style of the drawing did it for me. It's a classic fantasy comparable to the best with some sly satire dished up in generous helpings. It could easily be compared to "Gulliver's Travels."

Good, LW. So far it's unanimous.

niebling, welcome to A2K.

No idea, though, as to where to find the pic.

Here's a link:

The three pack of the three films is a nice bargain.

If it's a still from the movie or on a particular poster, perhaps one from a foreign country, try for movie poster sites on Google instead of any detail on the image itself and then search within the cyberstore.

This movie was the modern day Alice in Wonderland for me. I love it so much.

Blast from the past, this post.

If you liked Spirited Away, check out Howl's Moving Castle - it's the best.

I adore Howl's Moving Castle. So much so that I read the book after having seen the movie multiple times.

You might think you adore it, but I truly adore it.

I'm making this right now -

The Howl's Moving Castle fully reproduced Papercraft Model.

I've been working on it for a month, no end in sight.

Yes. It's made of paper and elmer's glue, 2 feet tall and probably the most complex thing I've ever done in my life.

I'm big into papercrafting, the Japanese art of cutting and pasting to make 3d stuff. The instructions however are all in Japanese and confusing as hell, I'm just trying to do my best.

Doesn't help that I typically get really baked before I start working on it, but I haven't cut myself yet.
