Damn, i wish i had thought of that. I could have had bacon strips on the chicken breast while it browned, and then i would have had chicken and crispy bacon . . .

Remember rumaki? Very popular appetizer a couple of decades ago...

Saute bite-sized chicken liver pieces. Put each one on a slice of water chestnut. Wrap (from the bottom) with 1/2 slice bacon. Toothpick to hold together. Broil until bacon is crispy...

I could eat a plateful or so...
