CV boot replaced; steering wheel now feels sloppy

hi all!

i just had the CV joint boot replaced on my 89 Isuzu pu.

they also replaced the ignition switch.

when i picked it up, my steering wheel (which he said he had "trouble" getting back on correctly but finally did) feels very different.

it seems to have some slop in it and does not return back (after a turn) the way i feel it should.

could this be related to the CV boot repair? my husband seems to think it is.

the shop seems stumped and is trying to figure it out.

thanks for any advice and help!!!

More likely due to the ignition switch replacement, but I think from what you say, that they have dinked something up.

From your descriptions, I would think about a different shop...

I have had really good luck with a Tuffy shop nearby. The guy the owns the place is a redneck grease monkey and the nicest guy you'd ever meet. Plaques of appreciation all over the walls. Thank you cards posted on bulletin boards. Lots and lots of customers that come back again and again. That's what you want to look for.
