I won't start off with the time period if you mean what era the film takes place. There's one glaring clue in the scene description and those who remember the film will pick up on it.

The film is an oldie from the fifties through the sixties.

LW - We're using a time frame of when the movie was made.
Oldie - before 1960
Inbetweener - 1960 to 1980
Newbie - 1981 to Present
