You had nothing to do with the breaking-up between/of me and my girlfriend.

Which word should I use?

I'd use "of."

I agree with Brandon9000, if the word used is "breaking-up".

But I would say :

You had nothing to do with the break-up between me and my girlfriend.

I can't justify the difference by logic; I just know it sounds better to me.
