No she didn't. By the next day, my partner and the consultant or the account exec or the marketing director had a blow up over something else and that issue was shelved. We ended up using the consultants' copy but, it turned out that my partner was only bitching about a couple of headlines which made it clear to me then that her complaint was ego driven after all. And it just went downhill after that. We're now almost at the end and everybody has been called a bitch. And we've still got to go through the proofing stage. Since the knives are already out now and waiting to draw blood, this could get even messier.
