Winwood, a friend's favorite guitarist at the time, what time, I can't date it.

She's the one who surprised me when we all went to a club and she did the best jump and shimmydown.

Re this video, dunno.

I'm so old I remember when Led Zeppelin were easy at KMET or in some review.

Liked them.

OK, that was the soundtrack to a bad romance novel.

Are you sleepy, or got someone on your musical shoulder.

(No Abba either)

More dark meat, Jack

I remember the first time I heard the Beatles, first album, just out, as we drove in a friend's lame car, forget what it was but it was a convertible, one of those that rolled over, Corvair, that's it, to her dad's place in Palm Springs. Full blast on the radio, her tapping the steering wheel with her ring (she'd heard it before, I was just first listening...., as were the friends in the back of the car. We spent the weekend talking about guys, life, reading screen magazines (what?), and going to, wait for it, Sambo's and to the movies.

Nugent and Church and Inyx and AC/DC are new to me, remember, I stopped with the radio around the time of the Eagles and also around the time of a certain change in radio in the US. I started listening to KCRW, brazilian music, so-called world music, and classical music, which I still know nothing about but am learning. I'm commenting with my own reactions. I expect we all have our emotional connections and musical avidities.
