I happen to have liked "Strawberry Alarm Clock" but to call ANY of those that you have cited as "the greatest band in the history of music" is, IMO, indeed a stretch!

I was going to go with Air Supply, which I notice is not on your list, but I'll stick with R.E.O. Speedwagon, also not on your list.

The only band that continuously amazes me is
Led Zeppelin, specially since I bought their live concert tripple CD, "How the West Was Won"

Others I like but listen to sparingly. I like to go back and listen to the Blues from the Ist half of the last century, where lies the roots of rock & roll

If you really wanna go with the TRUE GREATS as mentioned above, how about including: The Animals, Men Without Hats, Donny Osmond, The Sex Pistols, Milli Vanilli, Boyzone, Paper Lace, Bucks Fizz, and EVERY "rapper" without exception, who make up the most talentless people in world history.

It's good to get stuff like this off my chest now and then, it gets the blood pressure down. Thank you for your patience.

"House of the Rising Sun" by itself excludes the Animals from that list, IMHO.
