I froze a gallon of homemade eggnog, complete with rum, last Christmas. Do you think it's still good?

Eggnog can be frozen if it's store bought. If you freeze your own, the eggs must be beaten before freezing. Raw eggs are always a risk.

Can you say freezer burn?

It depends on how often your freezer door was opened and how modern the freezer is. Some freezers are less prone to freezer burn. did you have any power outages since it was put in there?

The proof is in the pudding. Stating the obvious, the only way to know is to thaw it and have a snort.

Or leave it frozen and try Eggnog-sickles.

Yes, but only commercial eggnog. I would not touch a prior frozen eggnog.

I hate to throw out booze. Who's tagline is Hank Hill's quote about never pouring out beer, even to put out a brush fire? That's kinda how I feel about it but...
I guess we'll make a fresh batch for the party. Rolling Eyes
Thanks to all for the advice.

I'd think that's a healthy choice, eoe, and make sure to drink it all,
so there won't be anything left to freeze Very Happy
