I watch these shows all the time. They are some of my favorites and I even Tivo alot of them.

My favorite "new" show is "Escape to Chimp Eden"

Animal Planet's "Escape to Chimp Eden" is a bittersweet, hope-lined series about chimpanzee rescue and rehabilitation. For the first time ever, chimps saved from the horrors of human captivity find a community and sanctuary at the hands of conservationist Eugene Cussons, South African rescue director at the Jane Goodall Institute's Chimpanzee Eden.

quinn, I watch this show too. It's one of my favorites.

I enjoyed watching the infants being introduced to the rest of the group. What a surprise Cosi was. He's usually such a nut.

I absolutely love Discovery, Animal Planet, Learning Channels.

I was flippin' through channels last night, about ten minutes before the next hour of shows would start and caught a couple of shows I wish I'd seen from the start.

On Animal Planet there was a cameraman in the ocean being flirted with by a female sea lion. She caught a penguin for him and tried to give it to him... still alive and without harming it. She was quite persistant in her attempts to give this gift. What was she thinking? I'd love to know.

Then over on Discovery there was a show that asked what animal is the most abundant on earth... Do you know?

What have you seen or learned from these channels?
Do you have a favorite? A program that is a can't miss?

I love the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Science Channel, National Geographic Channel,
the History Channel n the Military Channel in Hi Definition, on a 7 foot screen
( I said to my friend, Marty, over dinner:" u don 't look as real as my HDTV " ).
I m particularly fond of presentations of Vertebrate Paleontology (e.g., Walking w/Dinosaurs)
Astrophysics, Cosmology, Space Exploration and the reconciliation of Quantum Mechanics
with Einstein 's Relativity Theory, in 11 Dimensions: Membrane Theory.

The evolutionary history of artillery and of small arms,
eventuating in the H&K MP7 SMG have been very interesing too.
Jennifer Love Hewitt looks terrific in Hi Definition.
