Hah! I had not seen your reply prior to typing, but you mentioned
it to begin with and weren't really persuaded by other suggestions -
so I figured the "bayrische Dickschaedel" prevailed. Very Happy

I sincerely doubt any Dickschädel is as good as a Westphalian one.

[Speaking about cars: my Westphalian built Opel Astra is sold in the USA as Saturn Astra - but I paid more than the double for it here, 60 miles away from the factory, than it costs in the USA!]

Good luck with the new car (Saint Christopher protect you! ).

(And the new home, of course, too.)

Oh my a Schwob'!

Next time, you'll buy your car here, Walter.
My car cost about the same in Euro what it cost here in Dollar (considering
the exchange rate, it's considerably less here).

Isn't it nice how you can say "oh my" in Englisch just as you can say it in Bavarian? I wish the Americans had a "ha no" too.

You mean Christopher from the Sopranos? He ain't no saint!

But thanks, Westfalian Dickschädel!

What are you possessing?

Mercedes C240, four wheel drive, white, with beige interior.

In other words, my inner German chauvinist won.

An evil choice.

ps

We are in manhattan now but both sick with a virus you don't want. I'll find out the medical opinion on how long we are going to be contagious and try to ensure we do meet with you in that period.

That was the idea. As my favorite American politician put it, "Freedom's untidy, and free people are free to make mistakes and commit crimes and do bad things." To make it even more evil, I parked the car in an undisclosed location.

It's German for "pighead". Happy new year, George!

So, did you actually move to your own place by now? Made the clean-up, hand-over etc in Munich already?
