There is a nostalgia site that purports the ad to be genuine.

There you go letting the truth get in a way of a good story. For shame.

Thankfully, I was never allowed to drink coke as a child, and I never got
into it as an adult. I'm proceeding the same way with my
child, and so far, she prefers water over coke. *KeepFingersCrossed*

growing up in Saudi Arabia my father was able about 2 x per year to get coke syrup and he would make me a soda with his carbonating machine. It was a real treat then. Now I buy an 8 pack of the 8 oz about every 2 months (I can't drink a full 12 0z)

ugh. you make me want to hunt you down and hurt you. not the good hurt, the bad hurt...as in a big slap across the face. go back and play with your glitter makeup and hannah montana doll, little girl.

a rumor has been going around the media that lettting infants drink diet cola can brain damage them. not sure if it's true...my ma used to give me and my siblings soda pop in baby bottles all the time and I'm doing fine.
