Are we really a backwater?

Hotel California, dorf dorfing?

No, Cairns could never be a backwater. It's too beautiful by far & attracts far too many good people because of that. And of course, there are other attractions, too! You know what I mean.

Nope, the dorf dorfer was in a sad time warp, hinge. He should have kept his musical preferences to himself - via his head phones! Would have saved him a heap of embarrassment, too!

Another handy hint if you are thinking of moving to Cairns:

don't choose the birds twittering noise for your cell phone.

Mrs Hinge did and half the time she doesn't answer her phone because it blends in with the birds you hear all the time and the other half of the time she's answering her phone when no-one's called because she's heard the real birds you hear all the time.
