I have chills and fever. Major coughing and chest congestion. Won't be picking up the fluoride tray on Monday.

The stuffed cabbage was a little too sweet. The derma was not bad.

Sighing big time.

Sleep, Roberta. As much sleep as you can manage. At the very least, rest, if you can't sleep too well!
.. & some very gentle, (more liquid than solid) chicken soup. Lots of small bowls a day. Whether you feel hungry or not. Slurp away regardless.

Hang in there, Roberta. Be strong.

Agreed. Soup, rest, soup, followed by more rest.

As one who has a brother undergoing chemo, I can truly sympathize.

My mom made a mean golabki(stuffed cabbage). The cabbage would melt in your mouth.
Hope your feeling better.

Hey Girl

Wishing you were feeling stronger physically - p'raps the prednisolone is not asssisting on that front, along with the rest, but necessary in other ways. Sighing with you - but mustering up mental strength for you. Hugs x

Just back from the hospital. Got my swallowing therapy. Actually, it was more tongue, mouth, swallowing therapy. I have to go back in a week and a half so that they can check to make sure I'm doing it right.

Since I didn't pick up the fluoride tray on Monday, I figured I'd pick it up today. They told me I could get it any time. Hah! It appears that they should have said, "Any time but Wednesdays." I have an appointment to get it on the day I start radiation (Tuesday).

Busy, busy.

Did the therapy help?

Didn't actually do nuttin' except practice the moves.

I won't know whether it will help until I start the radiation. The therapy is to counteract the effects.

Ah, I see.

Did the annoying Thingie heal? The one that was messing with your sleep?
