I'm Roberta's friend Sheila. She wants me to tell you that she's in the recovery room at Bellevue. When I visited her tonight she was awake but not doing much talking. Surgery was 9 hours and according to the nurse on duty, she's stable and everything is going as planned. She mentioned some pain in her head, but generally appeared to be resting quietly. Tonight she's supposed to be transferred to Neuro ICU. Will see about getting her a phone as soon as she's out of ICU. (Love all the scarves you're wearing for her!)

G'day, Sheila! (that should give the other Aussies a giggle!)

Glad she's out of surgery.

I'm delving into my extensive collection of scarves - perhaps a cotton one for tennis tonight!

Thank you, Sheila! A hug for Roberta and one for you as well. Purple, green and black scarf today (yeah, it's a tad funky). I'm training fellow coworkers today and need to keep them awake. Smile
